BOB STEVENS
30 DECEMBER 1939– 02 DECEMBER, 2022

It is with great sadness that we write this message today. Our friend, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, business owner, and servant of the Lord, Bob Stevens passed away Friday, December 2, 2022.

Bob was a light in this world. You never knew what new joke or story he was going to tell, but he always left you with a smile on your face. You will never meet a soul that could say anything but positive comments about our sweet Bob. He loved his family, his employees, his customers, and his friends more than life itself. Every day for him was “Super Fantastic”. He led each and every day as an example of what a true servant leader really is. He always wanted to share his faith in our Lord Jesus Christ by telling you that “he wanted you to know that he was just a nobody, who wants to tell everybody about somebody, who can save anybody”.

Bob loved sports. Whether watching it or being an athlete himself, he was all in. There was no happier place for him than on the golf course with his buddies, or watching a football, baseball, basketball game, track meet or dance competition that his grandchildren were a part of. He would always say, “Look at him/her, they are my spitting image”. He also had a great passion for music and nothing pleased him more than to hear the joyful sounds from his granddaughter or the choir at church.

Robert Nelson Stevens was 82 years old and resided in Kennesaw GA. He was survived by his wife Carol W Stevens, his sons Michael “Mickey” Robert Stevens (Alina) and Mark Nelson Stevens, grandchildren Dane Nelson Stevens (26), Sara Nicole Stevens (22), Savannah Jo Stevens (19), Robert Hank Stevens (17), and Ruby Bell Dawn Stevens (15).

Bob is also survived by his brother Harold Dean Stevens (Kathy) and was preceded in death by Franklin “Hank” Stevens. He is survived by many other well-loved nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be made to either of the following: Johnson Ferry Baptist Church Worship and Arts Department or Right From the Heart Ministries.
