Georgia PestVets Veteran of the Year Award
The Georgia PestVets Veteran of the Year Award was created to honor a veteran who has helped strengthen the pest management industry. They are recognized for their outstanding contributions to the industry
and to the communities they serve.
Criteria & Rules
The recipient of this Award will be an individual who demonstrates the following qualities:
- Outstanding Leadership
- Notable Contributions to the Pest Management Industry
- Community Involvement and Service
- Integrity and Commitment to Excellence
- Dedication to Their Company and Fellow Co-Workers
Minimum qualifications must:
- Be a Veteran of the US Military discharged under honorable conditions (DD214)
- Be employed by a GPCA member company
The recipient will be recognized at the Winter Conference in Athens, GA and receive a complimentary Winter Conference registration to attend the ceremony.
Winners of this award who are also a part of an NPMA member company will automatically be submitted for the NPMA PestVet of the Year Award.
Nominations are due by December 1.
Woman of Excellence Award
The Georgia Pest Control Association (GPCA) Woman of Excellence Award recognizes women who demonstrate exceptional professional achievement, strong character and a deep commitment to advancing the pest management industry.
The recipient of this award will be an individual who demonstrates the following qualities:
- Outstanding Leadership
- Notable Contributions to the Development and Growth of the Profession
- Notable Contributions to Her Business or Organization
- Support and Advocacy for Other Women in the Industry
- Mentorship-Investing in the Growth of Others, Particularly Women Entering or Advancing in the Field
- Innovation-Introducing New Ideas, Practices, or Approaches That Move the Industry Forward
- Perseverance-Overcoming Challenges or Barriers
Individuals must be employed by a GPCA member company and may be nominated by their colleague, peer or supervisor.
The recipient will be recognized at the Winter Conference in Athens, GA and receive a complimentary Winter Conference registration to attend the ceremony.
Nominations are due by December 1.
Outstanding Pest Management Professionals
Criteria & Rules
The GPCA Outstanding Pest Management Professional award honors individuals whose passion for the industry and dedication to others sets them apart. It may be presented to office professionals, managers and sales or service staff.
The recipient of this award will be an individual who demonstrates the following qualities:
- Outstanding Service
- Superior Performance
- Exceptional Efficiency
- Integrity
- Initiative and Adaptability
- Dedication to Their Company and Fellow Co-Workers
- Positive Professional Attitude
Individuals must be employed by a GPCA member company and may be nominated by their colleague, peer or supervisor.
The recipient will be recognized at the Winter Conference in Athens, GA and receive a complimentary Winter Conference registration to attend the ceremony.

Administrative Professional Award
The Administrative Professional Award recognizes the administrative professional who best demonstrates outstanding customer service for their company and the industry; a commitment to their company’s purpose and culture; strong organizational and communication skills; and has served at least two years in a full-time capacity.
The recipient of this award will be an individual who demonstrates the following qualities:
- Outstanding Service
- Superior Performance
- Exceptional Efficiency
- Integrity and Commitment to Excellence
- Dedication to their Company and Fellow Co-Workers
- Shows Initiative and Adaptability
- Positive Professional Attitude
