The 2023 Leadership Class is Under Way

Leadership Class of 2023

The bi-annual Leadership Classes split into two groups to compete for the best of the best by arranging charity fundraisers. The winning team is the one with the most money raised.

This year, the Class of 2023 is raising monies for PestVets and the Burnett Scholarship Fund. One team will be hosting a day of Corn Hole competition with Food Trucks and family fun. The other team is working on a Walk-a-Thon. Stay tuned for more information on both events as they develop.

Leadership Class of 2023 are pitted against each other (above & right) in team-building exercises and in fundraising.

Honeybee In-Person Course Hosted on 6/8/2023 with Dr. Dan Suiter

GPCA hosted an in-person Honeybee Removal Operator Course. There was 27 person in attendance out of the 37 persons who signed up for the event. The event was a great success and GPCA can't wait to offer more!

Train the Trainer is Back in August!

Wally Holden will be hosting a Train the Trainer in Griffin, Georgia at the University of Georgia Griffin Campus. This course prepares you to present CEU Courses that are approved by the Georgia Department of Agriculture.

After you are certified, you can even volunteer with GPCA to offer your course curriculum at virtual and in-person events.
