Full-Time DCO Needed for BYC Pest Control
BYC Pest Control is the pest division of The Backyard Care Company, a growing outdoor services company serving metro Atlanta. We’re known for mosquito control and lawn care, and we’re expanding our structural pest and termite services. Our approach is IPM-first and pet-safe: baits, gels, dusts and targeted treatments, not blanket spraying.

About the Role We’re growing our pest control division and want a hands-on certified operator to help lead it. This is a field role first. For at least your first year, you’ll run the pest route yourself: residential accounts, commercial accounts and termite work. As the division grows, we’ll hire a technician and you’ll step into supervising and training the people you help bring on. If you like doing the work yourself, want a real say in how a division is built, and want to grow with it, this is for you.

What You’ll Do Run residential and commercial pest control services: inspections, treatments and follow-ups Perform termite inspections, WDI reports and treatments, including bait systems and liquid treatments Serve as a Designated Certified Operator with the Georgia Department of Agriculture Grow the division in person: run inspections, write estimates, and close homeowners, property managers and commercial accounts. We send you the leads. This is not a cold-calling role. Help win and service commercial accounts such as restaurants, daycares and multi-family properties, including the documentation and logbooks they require Build relationships with realtors and property managers for inspection and WDI work Keep us compliant on product use, record keeping, labels and state requirements, and review pest marketing and offers before they launch Help shape service protocols, product choices and pricing

What We’re Looking For Active Georgia Certified Operator license in Category 29 Category 30 (Wood-Destroying Organisms) strongly preferred 3+ years of hands-on pest control experience Commercial account experience strongly preferred Genuinely enjoys field work and is comfortable running daily service stops Confident explaining problems and solutions to customers face to face A builder: you’d rather figure out how to make a new idea work than list reasons it won’t Strong IPM knowledge and targeted treatment methods Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Comfortable with field-service software (we use GorillaDesk)

What We Offer Competitive base pay plus commission on new recurring accounts PTO and paid holidays Paid CEUs and license renewals A clear path to leading the division as it grows A small team that listens to your ideas To Apply: Submit your resume along with your Georgia Certified Operator license number(s) and the categories you hold. Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits: Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Paid training Professional development assistance

Application Question(s): Do you hold an active Georgia Certified Operator license in Category 29? In Category 30? How many years of hands-on pest control experience do you have? Have you serviced commercial accounts (restaurants, daycares, multi-family)? Have you completed WDI/termite inspection reports? License/Certification: or currently obtaining Certified Operator License (Preferred) Work Location: In person
