Dan Givens
1948 ~ 2022

Daniel Johnson Givens, 74 of Newnan, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born July 26, 1948, in Atlanta, to Lou and Jean Johnson Givens. He was one of three children. He grew up in the Druid Hills area and attended Druid Hills High School. Being an avid musician, he and his twin brother
were members of a Folk Group, The Voyagers, in which he played guitar. He also played sports in high school. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, “Go DAWGS!”
He attended college and chose a career path in sales. He began his career as a chemical sales representative with Stephenson Chemical Company and completed his career with Univar Environmental Services.
