Complete the registration below to participate! We need MORE volunteers Date: Thursday, December 4th, 2025 Time: 8:30AM-11:30AM Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the shift start time to check-in. Orientation begins promptly at the start of the shift. Late volunteers may be unable to serve.
Location: Atlanta Community Food Bank 3400 North Desert Drive Atlanta, GA 30344
Service Area: Hunger Action Center The Hunger Action Center provides a great hands-on experience in a diverse and social atmosphere. Groups and individual volunteers come together to inspect, sort, and pack quality grocery donations to prepare for distribution to nearly 700 partner agencies across Georgia.
Dress Code: Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required, with sneakers or work boots recommended. Flip flops, Crocs, sandals, or heeled shoes are not allowed. Please wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting a bit rumpled. Some volunteers will be sorting refrigerated products. Please wear long pants and bring a sweatshirt or light jacket with you. In the event you are working elsewhere, there are lockers onsite to place your outerwear.
